**ممنوعیت پخت، عرضه و سرو غذای دریایی از کوسه‌ماهی و سفره‌ماهی در ایران**

در تلاش برای حفاظت از زیست‌بوم‌های دریایی و سواحل دریایی، دولت ایران به محدود کردن činnost‌های مرتبط با کوسه‌ماهی و سفره‌ماهی در سراسر کشور ادامه داد. وزیرکل دفتر حفاظت از زیست‌بوم‌های دریایی و سواحل دریایی اخیراً این خبر را در مورد ممنوعیت پخت، عرضه و سرو هرگونه غذای تهیه‌شده از کوسه‌ماهی و سفره‌ماهی اعلام کرد.

According to sources, chef at Office of protection of marine habitats and coast, in Iran has declared the ban on cooking, selling and serving of all food products made from sharks and basking sharks throughout the country.

Spicer for office of protection of marine habitats and coast of Iran announced this news saying: “sharks and basking sharks are top predators in marine food chain and play a key role in maintaining balance and health of marine ecosystems. These species control fish and invertebrate populations, prevent marine habitat destruction and ensure marine biological sustainability.”

“ Besides their ecological importance, these species are also economically valuable. In many areas, seeing sharks in the form of marine tourism is a sustainable source of income for local communities.”

Unfortunately, sharks and basking sharks are facing threats such as overfishing, environmental pollution, and habitat destruction, leading to a significant decline in their global population.

In light of this, in order to implement the National Program for Protecting Sharks and Basking Sharks, the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture has issued a decree banning the cooking, selling, and serving of any food product derived from these species in all restaurants, food preparation centers, fast-food outlets, and other related centers.

This decree aims to inform and effectively implement the ban nationwide. People, food activists, and business owners are encouraged to cooperate and adhere to this important environmental initiative.
