Commander of Provincial Police of Khuzestan Province announced the death and injury of thugs and robbers in the cities of Shadegan and Khorramshahr. According to Khurana, General Seyyed Mahmoud Mirfayzi stated that one of the police’s priorities in 1404 is to combat and confront thugs. He said: At dawn today (February 26, 1404), police officers in the city of Shadegan identified and successfully confronted an armed thug who was armed and trying to disrupt public order. In a separate operation, police officers in the city of Khorramshahr identified and caught two armed robbers during a robbery. During the chase and pursuit, one of the robbers was injured and both were arrested. The head of the Khuzestan police emphasized that the police will not show mercy and will strictly enforce the law against thugs.
